Originally a Primary School teacher in the Wakefield area my hobby of painting overtook so in 1989 I began a full time career as an artist. We moved from Wakefield to Ripon and opened the North light Studio in Kirkgate in 1994 as a place to work and exhibit my paintings. We moved into larger premises at 19 Kirkgate in 2002. Thius helped to improve our ability to offer a bespoke framing service and to stock a range of Cross Stitch kits, other needlework kits and accessories recently augmented by Sirdar and King Cole Knitting Yarns and patterns.
We now hold a varied stock of Winsor & Newton & Pro Arte artists materials.
