Welcome to Alan Matthews Watercolours North Light Studio and Gallery

One of Yorkshire's time served water colour artists, Alan Matthews specialises in capturing the unique beauty of life and landscape in and around the Yorkshire dales and indeed beyond!

Alan's work includes originals, prints and private commissions. His work is on display at his charming studio and gallery on Kirkgate adjacent to the great west front of Ripon Cathedral.

Alan is usually available to personally discuss his work, and his wife Dorothy and other friendly staff are also on hand to help in your choice of Picture, Cards, Cross-Stitch, Framing or Knitting.
